Custom Fields- Custom Fields capture your unique business data and store it. When you create a custom field, you configure where you want it to appear and optionally control security at the field level. You can manage custom fields through the admin menu (click the cogwheel upper right hand side of CampAct).The field’s page will let you view all existing contact fields as well as any custom contact fields you've created.
You will notice the group column which will show you where the specific field will be shown on the contact profile. In the last column, you may see several icons which signify various properties of the field
The following information gets displayed in the custom fields
The check mark which shows before each label title is a clickable toggle which will publish and unpublish the field
The green symbol indicates that the custom field is published.
The red symbol indicates that the custom field is unpublished.
New Field-
You can create additional custom fields and define the data type you want that field to hold. In addition to the data type you will also select the group for that particular field. This will define where the field displays on the contact edit and detail view.

New contacts can come from multiple sources or locations. Understanding the different sources and then using that information to decide which platforms to spend the most energy on, can increase your results and help you engage with your contacts on the platform they visit you the most.
